THE HALLOWEEN STORIES COLLECTION, VOLUME 2

&

THE DAY OF THE DEAD… AND MORE HALLOWEEN TALES

Scholastic Halloween Stories Collection

Perfect timing for Halloween FUN!!  These new not-so-scary stories-on-DVD arrive from SCHOLASTIC STORYBOOK TREASURES™.  This Halloween Stories Collection, complete with celebrity narrations, has won hundreds of awards and sold more than 2.5 million videos.

THE HALLOWEEN STORIES COLLECTION, VOLUME 2 includes 14 stories aimed at early as well as pre-readers (ages 3+), to enjoy on this Halloween.  I know what you’re thinking – won’t Halloween stories be too scary for such young children?  I was concerned too, but I am happy to report that these stories really are NOT so scary.  They help you encourage creativity and music appreciation and teach your little ones about Latin American holidays with The Day of the Dead.  There are so many fun stories on this 3 DVD set, just take a look at this list;

  • The Day Of The Dead…And More Halloween Tales – The DVD also includes these animated stories: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything; Kitten’s First Full Moon; and Fletcher and the Falling Leaves.  (This DVD is also available as a single DVD on the Scholastic website).
  • Dem Bones…And More Sing-Along Stories – The DVD also includes these animated stories: Dinosaur Bones; Hush Little Baby; The Fox Went Out on a Chilly Night; and The Erie Canal.
  • Teeny-Tiny And The Witch-Woman…And More Spooky Stories – The DVD also includes these animated stories: The Boy with Two Shadows; Los Gatos Black on Halloween; What’s Under My Bed? and King of the Cats.  (This DVD is also available as a single DVD on the Scholastic website).

As with many of the Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVD’s The Halloween Stories Collection features the read-along function, your little ones will love as they follow along and work on their reading skills.   The running time of this collection is roughly 90 minutes on the 3 DVD”s plus extras.  You can purchase The Halloween Stories Collection, Volume 2 for just $24.95 (click HERE to buy it now)- a great price for quality programming for your little ones, they’ll be learning while they’re having a great time watching TV.  RELEASE DATE – October 15, 2013.

While you’re online make sure to check out SCHOLASTIC STORYBOOK TREASURES on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter to make sure you are kept up to date with all the information and new releases.
