moby wrap

Product Review and GIVEAWAY!!

A while back I was able to review the Moby GO baby carrier (read that review HERE).  Now I am extremely fortunate to have been given the chance to review (and Giveaway) the original Moby Wrap.

moby wrap original 2

Since we welcomed little Gradie into our lives we love “wearing” her 🙂 .  She just loves it too, especially in her Moby Wrap.  Just take  a look at the pictures below, both Jeanna and I are wearing her in the Moby Wrap.  She sleeps so easily while in the wrap because she is that comfortable and content.

I will be honest with you, when we first received our Moby Wrap and opened it up, we were a little intimidated with the size of it and wondering how we would ever get little Gradie in it, and in it safely.  We took to YouTube to help us, and after watching a couple videos we were both able to use the Moby Wrap confidently and by our self.  It really is that easy that you can get your baby wrapped up in it without assistance from others, which is great when you’re home alone or out and about, just you and your little one.

Are you asking WHY would you want to “wear” your little ones?  For me it is to be close to Gradie, to have that intimate time, to bond, and while she’s in the wrap you are able to do stuff around the house and she’s happy and content.  Also, according to Hunziker and Barr “Babies who are carried regularly cried 43% less overall; 54% less during the evening hours.”  Who wouldn’t want less crying – right?  You can find out many more positive results of baby wearing by clicking HERE, the list really is extensive.

You can also nurse your little one while babywearing, I do this regularly.  Gradie is well covered up while in the wrap, she is easily able to feed and I am able to do so while out and about still getting things done, because lets face it, life is busy and we have to get those everyday tasks accomplished.  To get assistance with how to nurse while your baby is in the Moby Wrap I encourage you to head over to YouTube.  Watching the videos of how others have accomplished the task worked for me and I am confident YOU can do it too 🙂

I am happy to let you know that you can purchase Moby Wraps on their website or click here for a list of local retailers.  While you’re online make sure to also like and follow Moby Wrap Inc. on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest and stay up to date with all new product developments and special offers :).

I learned that Moby was developed by a mom who wanted a way to hold her baby while leaving her hands free. If I won I would choose the Navy wrap because it is something both my husband and I would wear.
