Charlie A Toy Story Review & Giveaway

I was sooooo excited when I got Charlie A Toy Story to review (they told me it was like “Home Alone” with a dog and I LOVE THAT MOVIE!) I called up my trusty movie reviewer, my nephew, Garrett (Gman) for a Movie Night! The snow was flying, the popcorn was hot and we were ready!
Charlie A Toy Story is the latest production from the Engine 15 Media Group and they made a WINNER! Caden (Raymond Ochoa) gets a new dog for his birthday from his dad. Caden’s dad is a toy maker with a toy store that is on the verge on bankruptcy. He shows Caden a wondrous new invention that is for sure going to save the store as well as the family from ruins. As he is trying to save the family two neighborhood bullies attempt to break into the toy store and steal the new toy. Fun and games arise as Caden and his new dog, Charlie, trap the would-be bad guys in a series of slap-stick pranks.
I know it seems a lot like ‘Home Alone’ (it was) but Gman had NO idea that movie even existed! 🙂 It was a really fun movie! Gman and I laughed aloud MANY times. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of ‘kid’ movies now that can be enjoyed by the whole family. This movie was FINALLY one I enjoyed maybe even more than Gman.
The movie has several valuable lessons (like any kids movie) like using your imagination which I think kids lack these days. It shows how much imagination and play can be fun! It teaches me (as a soon to be mom) to spend time with my child using my own imagination!
