Have you ever heard of Guppi Shoes? They are a new start up company offering an extremely unique product. You custom design each pair of shoes you order, you ‘fish’ for a pair – the soles, side panels, tongue, backing and laces. You can literally create hundreds of thousands of variations – it’ll be like you always have a new pair of shoes, and if you’re anything like me you know you can never have enough shoes

I won’t pretend I wasn’t intimidated by these shoes when they first arrived. Guppi shoes come in 5 main parts:
- Soles (1 pair)
- Side Panels (1 set = 4 side panels)
- Tongues (1 set = 2 tongues)
- Heels (1 set = 2 heels)
- Laces (1 pair)
However, all I had to do was follow the extremely simple instructions video, which is available to watch directly on the Guppi Shoes website, just click HERE. It takes you through the entire process, step by step. I am very glad to report that after watching the video just once I was all set to go with putting my shoes together and taking them apart, to change them up to a completely new pair of shoes.

I learned that currently the offer women’s sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 but that in the future they will introduce more sizes, including half sizes.

They have a cool “shoeviewer” so you can see what your creation looks like before you buy it!
The zipper head is stored under the insole, it does not come in contact with the wearer’s feet after the shoes are assembled.
