I was lucky enough to be able to review the Lincoln: Light Blue and Brown Giraffe with Blue Swirl and Blue Ruffle tween/crib sized blanket and the Griffin: Aqua Blue background with orange, pale yellow, and tan Polk-A-Dots with Orange swirl and Brown ruffle infant sized blanket from Minky Couture.

Who is Minky Couture you ask?  Well, let me tell you about this amazing company.  They were established in 2009 when the owner, Sandi Hendry began making these unique and highly functional gifts out to family and friends, after which they began asking if they could buy these blankets, and that is how Minky Couture began.  From originally making unique infant blankets, they now offer blankets in five different sizes as well as pillow, fitted crib sheets and pet/doll sizes.  All of these minky blankets are made in the U. S. A, with each individually made by an experienced and talented seamstress that put lots of love and attention into each blanket.

Lincoln: Light Blue and Brown Giraffe with Blue Swirl and Blue Ruffle

I received this blanket in the tween/crib size, which is 36″ X 50″.  I know that we have kept the design of our nursery a secret but I can tell you that we have a giraffe theme, that is why I just couldn’t resist this blanket, it fits in perfect with the design.  I know that the website says this is a boys blanket, and we are “Team Green” (keeping the gender of our little one a secret until he/she makes their big appearance in July), but I am confident the baby blue of this blanket will be just fine if we should have a little girl too.

I just love how soft and comfortable this blanket is!!  Don’t tell anyone but I have wrapped myself up in this blanket more than once when I take a little nap on the couch.  As I said I received this blanket in the tween size, which retails for $85.  It is also available in the mini, infant, adult and monster sizes, just click HERE to see all of the options.

Minky Couture Blake

Just look at how cute this blanket is, of course Mr Blake adds great cuteness to it too!!  He just loves wrapping himself up in it, laying down with it, touching it, just loves everything about his new blankie!!  He got the infant blanket, which is  36″ X 30″ and it is just the perfect size for this 8 month old little man.  Each side of the blanket provides different textures which keeps Blake entertained when not napping with it.
