Milk Unleashed Prize Pack FLASH Giveaway!! (ends 3/15)

March 13, 2013 By Africa

Milk Unleashed Prize Pack FLASH Giveaway!!

It’s National Nutrition Month and Milk Unleashed has a fun calendar about all the goodness found in milk. As a beverage, milk is an easy way to incorporate calcium into our diets, something I’ve been working hard to do because it is so important for healthy joints and bones!!

Since shelf safe milk does not require refrigeration until opened, single-serving cartons can be taken to school, on camping trips, to sporting events or any other adventures without worrying about spoilage. It can be frozen it the night before so it’s just the right temperature at lunch…but if you don’t get around to drinking it – no problem…put it back on the shelf (it will last 6 – 9 months).

Milk Unleashed Prize Pack FLASH Giveaway

According to the Journal of Pediatrics, dairy and calcium intakes are inadequate in four to 18-year-olds. In fact, only 30 percent of the US population two years of age and older get the recommended level of calcium or more. Plus, most kids do not get enough Vitamin D, potassium and protein, either. The good news — all of these important nutrients are found in shelf safe milk. Let’s spread the word for National Nutrition Month.

Its not a problem… only one of my 4 kids isn’t a milk fan. All the others gladly drink milk 2-3 times a day. My daughter goes through phases where she’ll drink milk.. then she won’t want it for a bit, I really don’t worry about it when she doesn’t want it or goes a few weeks without really drinking milk since she has a really healthy diet.
