As I write this review I am currently 20 weeks pregnant, and what a blessing these 20 weeks have been, words cannot fully explain how happy we are to be venturing down this road to motherhood. Naturally, when I was approached to review the Tummy Talk Pregnancy Book I literally jumped at the opportunity. We all know how time gets away from us and that is exactly what it was doing for Jeanna and I, here we are already half way through this pregnancy and hadn’t documented much of the journey. Before I move onto the specs of this book I want to tell you what I love about it and why 🙂 !! The book is broken down into five sections;
- Pregnancy stories,
- Doctor’s visits,
- Weekly journaling,
- Baby shower, and
- Birth details.
I really like this because it has all the important sections already there. Stories about how you and your partner met, how you told your family and friends, as well as room to add in your own personal journaling and at the back of the book there are scrapbooking cut outs that you can use you have family members and friend write personal messages to your little one and you can place them in this journal to preserve them all for him/her to enjoy once they are able to. As you can see, in the image below (top left), I received the light blue colored Tummy Talk Pregnancy Book, it also comes in 3 other colors. Each cover has a hand-placed Swarovski crystal on the cover. Also, in the bottom right of the picture, you can see how some of the weekly journaling pages appear in the book. There is enough room to journal during each week of your pregnancy, and if you require additional paper to document your memories there are removable pages at the back of the book, before the scrapbook cut outs.
On the inside cover of the book there is a pocket for letters to your baby. I cannot wait to write this letter and place it in an envelope in the cover pocket for him/her to enjoy when they are old enough, I also plan on asking our parents to do the same. These are just a few of the highlights of the book, for me, there really is so much it is hard to document everything. See the list below for more specs regarding the Tummy Talk Pregnancy Book that I haven’t already addressed. In addition you can take a look at the Tummy Talk image gallery by clicking HERE.
