ViSalus Shape Kit ~ Prize Pack Giveaway!!
I am always looking for ways to try and live life a little healthier!! Therefore, when I was approached by ViSalus to review their Shape Kit, Nutra-Cookies and Neuro Packets I jumped at the chance.
As a disclaimer: I must say, being that I am pregnant, I did not use these products as a way to lose weight because doing that while pregnant would just be foolish. However, I was able to use the Shape Kit and Nutra-Cookies as a way to supplement my diet with a nutritious shake and snack that I have definitely enjoyed throughout the past couple weeks of pregnancy. The Neuro Packets are not recommended for pregnant ladies, therefore Jeanna was happy to step in and test these out. See the individual product reviews below.
ViSalus Shape Kit
Wait – what? A nutritious shake that tastes like cake mix?? I’m IN!! 🙂 I don’t know about you but I always used to think there was no way a shake could fill me up, but this shake is the shake that disproved that belief. I used these shakes to supplement my diet and they were great.
These shakes are make with ViSalus’ Tri-Sorb protein blend and prebiotic fiber and is enriched with healthy vitamins and minerals to support an active lifestyle. An added bonus is that these shakes are diabetic friendly as well as lactose, sugar and glucose free.
Taking the info from the ViSalus website, the following ingredients come in this delicious shake powder;
• Tri-sorb protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, digestive enzymes, calcium and more to promote nutritional wellness
• Non-GMO soy protein isolate supports heart-health
• Whey protein isolate and super-concentrated whey protein hydrolysate helps control hunger and support lean muscle
Just in case you get tired of the delicious cake mix flavored shakes (not sure how you could though, haha), the Shape Kit also comes with the Shape Up Health Flavor Mix-Ins. Easily add these flavors to your shake and receive an additional nutrition boost. They come in 5 flavors; Strawberry Phyto Power, Banana Energy Charge, Peach Complexion Mix, Orange Everyday Defense and Chocolate Cardia Care.
ViSalus Nutra-Cookies
I don’t know about you, but being pregnant has sure made me HUNGRY!! Having these Nutra-Cookies has been fantastic because, who doesn’t LOVE a cookie treat, and what’s that you say? They’re healthy – fantastic!! I received these cookies in chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter flavors and they were all delicious.
These cookies have fruit, fiber and protein and over 2 servings of vegetable and fruit servings to curb your appetite, and it worked 🙂
ViSalus Nuero Packets
Jeanna gave these her mark of approval 🙂 So often these days we turn to the wide array of energy drinks currently marketed to us, but do we really take the time to read the labels on those drinks. Again, taking this info from the ViSalus website (because they know their ingredients);

I believe that drinking 2 Visalus shakes as meal replacements per day would be a nutritious and stess-less way to lose weight. Once goal weight is reached, it can be maintained by continuing to drink one shake per day and upping it back up to 2 if you start to backslide with your loss.
I have gained weight because I am not working anymore & I have NEVER been this big & I can’t stand to see myself like this anymore. The Transformation kit would be ideal, my BMI atm has me as overweight (though I have lost 10 lbs since January) and I am wanting to get into the best shape possible. My dilemmas are being a stay at home mom..sometimes I forget to eat or by the end of the day, I am so exhausted that working out seems like a chore.

I agree with the review – the shakes taste great and fill me up so I don’t feel hungry for hours. I also feel healthier with increased energy. The Neuro packets work pretty well too – a little extra boost without any jitters.
I think it would improve my life by allowing me to loose weight in a healthy way. My wedding is coming up in just three and a half short months and for the past six months I have been trying everything from diet pills to detox diets trying to shed the pounds and nothing has really worked. I’ve realized to loose weight and keep it off I need to find a HEALTHY way to help along with exercise and I think that ViSalus is just the thing!! 🙂
