We don’t really do much in the way of gifts for Valentines Day (we usually do something fun together as a family, maybe give chocolates or favorite candy), but a few years ago hubby surprised me with a Kindle because he knows how much I love to read and haven’t had much time to get out and get book for myself (all our library time was spent in the kids section lol).

I love the tradition that my parents kept up for years — they always gave me a box of See’s Candies.

This guy I was seeing didn’t know his kids went out and bought me some Valentine stuff and it was sweet one kid got me chocolate hearts and a friendship ring and the other kid go me a rose with conversation hearts and a friendship ring and they got me a stuffed gorilla which I have the ribbon he is wearing tying the friendship rings together so I will never lose them. After my husnbad and I were first engaged, he had to head over to Europe. We Skyped on Valentine’s morning, but he acted like he forgot that it was Valentine’s Day. He had already air-shipped two dozen roses to me!! It was such a lovely gesture. 🙂

My husband printed out pictures and wrote poems and letters the entire week leading up to Valentine’s Day. I don’t remember what we did ON V-Day, but the week was so sweet!

I treated my parents to a night out bought them a hotel room/gift cards for dinner and a movie and stayed at home and watched my sisters for them 🙂

The first vday with my husband was amazing night out dinner … movie .. and walking around the outside mall at night with lights and fire pits it was beautiful out LOVED IT … I want that night all again just cause everything we have been thru hes still by my side … I love you v cc

I’m not sure what my all time favorite Valentine’s gift was, but I do recall receiving a sweet card hand made by my son when he was in grade school. It was so precious!!

One Valentine’s Day, I had an ultrasound and found out I was having a boy. Then years later, my daughter did and I found out I was having a grandson. The only two boys!
