Kid Basix – Safe Sippy2 ~ Review & Giveaway!! (ends 2/1)

January 25, 2013 By Africa

Kid Basix® – Safe Sippy2™

KidBasix Safe Sippy2 orange

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE products that grow with your children, and in turn they help parents to save money!!  When I was approached by Kid Basix® to review one of their products and I looked into the company and their line of products, I jumped at the opportunity to review the Safe Sippy2 because it grows with your little ones.  The Safe Sippy2 is designed for children aged 6 months on up.

KidBasix Safe Sippy2

The Safe Sippy2 comes with three different inserts.  One works as a sippy valve which is ‘no-spill’ for our younger little ones, then you are able to convert the sippy to a straw cup with the 2nd insert and lastly there is a travel ‘plug’ that prevents the sippy from spilling while you carry it around in the diaper bag or your purse.  In addition, as you can see in the pictures, there is a cap for the sippy that keeps it clean and free from any grit and grime while travelling, etc.

The Safe Sippy2 holds 11oz of your children’s favorite drink and is made from high quality stainless steel and is free of all BPA and other yucky stuff that are no good for our little ones!!  What I really liked about this sippy is that both little Ms. Elliot, who is 17 months old and little Mr. Blake who is just 6 months old were able to hold onto the sippy easily, either by grabbing onto the useful handles or using the protective ‘sleeve’ that is on the bottom of the bottle and the cover also helps to protect the bottle from dings and dents when it is dropped.

The Safe Sippy2 retails for just $15.99 and you can buy it by clicking HERE.  Another really neat feature of these products is that you can purchase replacement parts for a nominal fee, like replacement inserts, replacement ‘sleeves’, etc. again another reason why I highly recommend the Safe Sippy2 – if you lose a part of the cup you don’t have to replace the entire thing.

Make sure you follow Kid Basix on their Facebook and Twitter pages as well as checking out all of their awesome products over at their website.  You won’t be disappointed!!

KidBasix has been kind enough to sponsor, as a giveaway prize, a Safe Sippy2, in the winners choice of color.  Just enter via the super easy rafflecopter entry form below.

I like the idea of the safe starter, and I like how they are concerned with moving the discussion beyond BPA to the safest material for baby drinking.
