Eliminate Pet Odors
We all know how much I just love my two fur babies, Tanner and Logan, they really are my babies 🙂 but at the end of the day they are dogs, and from time to time they get a little smelly, or have a little accident on the carpet, etc. I was really happy when approached by MrGreen Eco Friendly Odor Solutions to review (and giveaway) Mr Green Pet Wash & Shampoo and Mr Green Dog Deodorizer.
MrGreen Pet Wash & Shampoo
I love using products for Tanner and Logan that are environmentally friendly and most importantly safe to use on my dogs, that wont harm them, and I am glad to say that the MrGreen Pet Wash & Shampoo meets all of these requirements. It is 100% environmentally friendly that not only cleans them, but also conditions their coats and it truly gets rid of those doggy odors, it doesn’t just mask the smell, it truly gets rid of it. We’ve used shampoo before that just masks the smells for a little while but not with MrGreen Pet Wash & Shampoo, it was days later and they were still smelling great!!
While I am lucky to not know how bad my babies would smell should they come across a skunk, MrGreen also states that their shampoo is able to eliminate skunk odor. Tanner and Logan are short haired dogs, but this shampoo also works as a great de-tangler for longer haired fur babies!!
The MrGreen Pet Wash & Shampoo comes in a 34 oz container and is concentrated, for each dog wash you mix 250ml (a cup) with 2.5 gallons of warm water. Then get your dogs coat saturated with the mixture and make sure you massage it into their coats to get as much of the fresh lemongrass scent onto them as possible, and if you dogs are anything like mine, the massaging their coats get them to calm down a little because bath time is not their favorite activity 😉 . Then just rinse them off, town dry them and give them a good brush and they’re good to go and smelling fresh!!
MrGreen Dog Deodorizer
As I said above, Tanner and Logan are not big fans of having to take a bath! Of course if they had their way they would give it a miss, so when they aren’t smelling too ‘dog’ like I love that I now have MrGreen Dog Deodorizer to use on them when they just need a little refresher but don’t necessarily need a full bath.
When I use this product with my two babies I spray it into my hands, the noise of the sprayer freaks them out, they freak out easily 🙂 ! I have super sensitive skin but this doesn’t irritate my skin, and it works fantastically on both Tanner and Logan. I don’t always understand ‘how’ these products works, so here is some verbiage from the MrGreen website, “MrGreen Dog Deodorizer is an all-natural odor eliminator not a perfume. MrGreen works by attacking the odors at the source using proven organic technology for a safe and long lasting effect.” Again, I don’t know HOW it works, I just know that it DOES work!! Tanner and Logan get a ‘fake’ bath and they smell great and spreads out time in between their full baths, and I know they are grateful for that!!

I would love to try MrGreen’s RVM RV & Marine Holding Tank Treatment since we use our Tralier RV for camping trips and sometimes are not hooked up to a sawer and have to use the holding tank. This would make for a more pleasant camping trip 🙂
