Campbell’s Skillet Sauces…Dinner for two – Review

November 20, 2012 By Africa

Campbell’s Skillet Sauces…Dinner for two… and then some!!!

Let me start off by saying… I AM NO COOK, so this review is a little different for me. I was so afraid that I would mess it up and that I would make it taste awful.

Nonetheless, I gave it a try, I mean honestly, how hard can it be, Campbell’s Skillet Sauces – after all it’s only sauce in a pouch, right?

We first chose which Skillet Sauce we wanted to try the only way we both agreed on… “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” and Marsala with Mushroom and Garlic it is!

Jeanna cut up a couple pieces of chicken breasts and we browned them in oil on the stove.  I boiled some water to make a little pasta  🙂

Once the chicken was browned, I poured in the Skillet Sauce to heat through, it took about 5 minutes.  By the time the pasta was al dente, the chicken Marsala was finished.  It was so easy… next to impossible to screw up!

We decided to follow the recommendation on the packet and have the Marsala over pasta and it was delicious and savory.  I think the ease of just 3 simple steps and less than 15 minutes makes it even better.  After a long day, who couldn’t use a meal that you can throw together in less than 15 minutes that doesn’t involve leftovers?!?!

Now that I have your mouth watering, visit Campbell’s Skillet Sauces Website to see the variety of new Skillet Sauces.

I am not big on packaged foods but this looks and sounds amazing! I may have to try this out on sports nights instead of fast food on the way to practices! Thank you!

I am with Rhonda, I don’t do a lot of processed food, however, Campbell’s is a name I trust, and I think this looks like something awesome that I can keep around for emergencies!
