Scentsy Plug-In Warmer
It’s estimated 220,500,000 households in the U.S. use candles in their homes. Jeanna and I are no different; we burn candles a lot, especially around the holidays starting with the smell of pumpkins in the fall!
I must admit I am not a big fan of fancy foo-foo smelly candles. We are pretty boring with our clean linen or cotton scents. Let’s be honest, I have two little fur babies who live in the lower level of the house and you can tell 🙂 so candles burning is better than spraying air freshener… or so I thought.
It was about two weeks ago when Ms. Elliot was over and cruising around on her newly walking legs when I realized just how paranoid I am! I can’t have candles burning with kids running around; even with them up on a shelf… they could fall!
I had heard of wickless candles before but hadn’t really seen them around until I was introduced to Scentsy Wickless Candles. Scentsy is a unique candle warming system that heats a long lasting wax Scentsy Bar with a low-watt light bulb, never heating the wax above body temperature so there are no burns if it spills.
I got to try the Groovy Brown Scentsy Plug-In Warmer and I LOVE it! I love that it uses only a small 15 watt bulb. I love that it doesn’t look like a room deodorizer… you know what I mean… those ‘other’ plug ins that leak smell into the air before they dry up and turn to dust in less than a week!
I love that I can smell the ‘clean breeze’ as soon as I come down stairs and the plug-in is on the opposite side of the room, above the dog beds, past their kennels… look that fresh laundry smell cuts through a lot of DOG so it has won me over!
And the puppies don’t seem to mind it at all either 🙂

My kiddo has dipped his hands in my warmers numerous times and he thinks its hilarious to peel the wax off. That’s why I joined Scentsy, I liked the safety. Plus, it’s way prettier than a regular candle 🙂

The Layers line just came out in March. I love it! There isn’t any mineral oil in any of them, so it isn’t greasy like other lotions.

These sound interesting. I have never heard of them. Like that they have their own light bulb and don’t look like a plug in that is stuck in the wall.

I found out that their warmers, when used with low-watt light bulbs, never heat the wax up past body temperature, so if it spills, nobody gets burned and your house doesn’t go up in flames.
