Glass Handbags – Review of the Frankie Structured Crossbody Bag

Glass Handbags – Review of the Frankie Structured Crossbody Bag

I’ll be the first person to admit – I am not a purse/handbag kind of girl, BUT I know plenty of amazing women who LOVE them and I was lucky enough to be able to let my MIL (mother-in-law) try out the  Frankie Structured Crossbody Bag – Toasted Gold bag from Glass Handbags!!

Before I dive into the review of this particular bag, let me explain the concept behind GLASS HANDBAGS.
One thing I’ll always remember about my mom and her handbag is how it seemed possible for her loose just about ANYTHING in her bag, irrespective of the size of the item, and this is the main reason I was so intrigued by the Glass Handbags!!  They have developed a handbag, a HIGH quality handbag, with an integrated light system – yup, a light INSIDE your handbag!!!  Gone are the days of losing things, having them disappear into the abyss that is the bottom of your handbag.  The idea is, well, BRILLIANT!!!!

Now back to the review, as I mentioned, I received the Frankie Structured Crossbody Bag – Pictured below;

and below is a picture of the bag showing the lighting system;

This handbag looks sleek, professional and is extremely spacious without looking bulky at all!!!  I just love the silver chain and bag closure.    The bag has four inside pockets, allowing you to easily and securely store all of your belongings within the zippered pocket and cell phone pocket as well as the multipurpose storage area.  The bag also has protective ‘feet’ that protect the high quality leather from scratches or damage when you have to set it down.   The measurements of this bag is 12 1/2″W X 11″H X 5″D, trust me they’re ‘just right’   🙂
The lighting system turns on every time you open the bags flap and shuts off when you close the bag up.  The lighting system runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included when you receive your bag.

I encourage you to check out Glass Handbags website as well as their Facebook and Twitter pages, I am sure you will NOT be disappointed.  These handbags are such a high quality, product you’ll wish you had one in each color and design, I know my MIL and SIL’s do   🙂

Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers and their families.

    Now see I’m so glad I read this because I didn’t know it turned off when it was closed. Now that makes perfect since. I think these are really awesome! And I know somebody who needs one , she can never find anything in her purse! 🙂 Great review!
