    I love Halloween (I’m an event planner so looooove decorating for every occasion or holiday!) but I love it even more now that I’m a mom. My 2 year old is so excited to get dressed up! I’m also obsessed with pumpking….carving them, using them as plant pots (just place potted plant inside one! – so cute!), eating the seeds, making pies….love! 🙂

    Halloween is our favorite holiday! My mom’s timid, shy ways would dissipate on Halloween day. She would surprise the entire family coming out in costume and completely acting out the part never breaking the concentration of the character she was playing. She made the family blush but boy, did she ever play the part of the…cavewoman, southern hillbilly, car accident victim. Although she left this earth back in 2008, those memories of Halloween pranks and fun filled days left a lasting impression on the entire family. My aunts, uncles, and everyone else still talk about my mom’s crazy Halloween antics! 🙂

    When I was a kid, it wouldn’t be autumn until Mom hung up the Indian corn and put out gourds. As a special treat, we would get plain cake donuts and apple cider. As a parent, watching the anticipation of my son and dressing him in costumes. I still enjoy carving pumpkins.
