Years later she was cleaning out her cabinets giving me Tupperware that she didn’t use anymore and when she pulled out the salt and pepper shakers i got excited and thought I was going to get them…FINALLY….but lo and behold she put them up on the counter and said she couldn’t get rid of them because she wanted to use them….looks like I will have to buy my own now….lol

One Thanksgiving I baked pumpkin pies to take to Thanksgiving dinner and had put them in a Tupperware container without the top since we were not going very far. My husband had to work most of the night before so I said I would drive. The kids were in the back seats so i set them on the floor of the passenger side thinking I would be the passenger and not the driver. When my husband got in the car he stepped right into one of my pies with the aluminum foil on top. We had a “special” monogrammed pie with my husband’s footprint than Thanksgiving! Needless to say, I now take the time to put the plastic Tupperware covers on ALL my containers. It does make for a memorable holiday, though…
