Max & Ruffy’s Review & Giveaway (ends 8/12)

July 29, 2012 By Africa

Max & Ruffy’s

I have said it a MILLION times… my puppies are my babies!  I would do anything for them and that includes giving them the best food and treats I can find.  I have heard it from so many people that I am just crazy for some of the things I do for these two little babies but I sure do love them lots!

Along the way of seeking out healthy and new treats for my furry friends I found Max & Ruffy’s a company started by two doggy moms that loved to bake.   Beth and Kelly launched Max & Ruffy’s in may of 2009 to provide organic, hand-baked, vegan dog treats to lucky dos everywhere!

max and ruffys logo

I was so kindly asked to let Tanner and Logan try some of these treats.  They got to sample all that Max & Ruffy’s had to offer: Molasses Explosion, Fife-Star Blueberry, Powerhouse, The Kelp Highway, Mother Quinoa’s Pumpkin Patch and W. P. Pizza.  YAY!!! PIZZA… it sounded so good I almost wanted to try it myself.  And I could have because Max & Ruffy’s only use 100% human-grade ingredients, which means all ingredients have met the standards for human consumption… I will have to just believe the package for now… I AM NOT THAT BRAVE………YET! 🙂

six pack max and ruffy dog treats

Each package came with mini bites which were perfect for their training treats and original size which we use more for bigger treat praises!

Max & Ruffy's Dog Treats

All the treats passed the Tanner and Logan’s test, not that I was worried.  How about letting your furry babies try them?  Wouldn’t they wanna try a new vegan treat?  Visit MaxandRuffys.com to purchase any of these great new treats for just $7.50!!  Also make sure you stop by Max and Ruffy’s Facebook and Twitter pages to stay up to date on everything related to this amazing company!!!

The awesome ladies over at Max and Ruffy’s have provided, for a lucky winner, a chance to win your own Sample Six Pack from Max & Ruffy’s using the Rafflecoptor below!

Good WOOF & Happy BARK!!!

I think my dogs would like all of them, but I am not quite sure about the ones that contain Alfalfa, and Kelp. I know they are good for horses, and kelp for people, but I have never heard of them being good for dogs. And, not all things that are good for us, or good for dogs. I also learned that they use organic ingredients, and no Genetically grown foods, and that their packaging is compostable, and they use soy ink.

We use a 100% recyclable paperboard box that is made from 100% recycled fibers with a minimum of 35% post-consumer waste. These fibers, which consist of used corrugated boxes, carton box cuts, corrugated scraps, news and ledger, are materials that would have otherwise gone to a landfill or incinerator; and the best thing is that this box can either be tossed in your compost bin or your recycle bin.
