When Elliot first arrived home all wrapped and tucked in her blanket I could not figure out how to get her out let alone get her tucked back in. I was given the chance to try a much easier way to bundle Ms. Elliot up…… the SleepSack from HALO Innovations, Inc.

The SleepSack is a wearable blanket that replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. It’s a warm and cuddly blanket they can’t kick off making sure baby sleeps safe and sound through the night or close to it anyways 
Elliot seems to like it best because with the sleeveless design she can still hold her bottle or reach for her pacifier. It looks bigger than it needs to be but it gives Elliot enough room to kick her legs without kicking the blanket off so she stays nice and warm but not overheated.
I can’t help but mention when I was researching this whole swaddling thing with babies I frightened myself. There is so much information out there about what to do and what not to do with babies. I found an article about hip dysplasia if you swaddle your baby too much; and then all the articles about SIDS and how you must swaddle your baby… What is a mom suppose to do? I was so happy when I came across the International Hip Dysplasia Institute during all my research and saw that HALO Innovations was approved as HIP HEALTHY! THANK GOODNESS!!!
HALO also offered up some GREAT sleep safety tips for baby too, first and foremost place your baby to sleep on their back at sleep time.
