I am spending the entire day with my family. We will be at the pool swimming and then have a wonderful cookout. The temperature is 99 degrees tomorrow so we will want to be going inside in between playing outside just to cool off.

We are having our yearly family 4th of July Spectacular Day! Everyone cooks their favorite dish and brings it to the cook-out along with some meat to go on the grill! We swim, play horseshoes, frisbie, basketball and whatever fancies you! You didn’t hear this from me, because fireworks that leave the ground are illegal in VA, but we have an AMAZING FIREWORKS DISPLAY! Everyone has a blast spending time with each other and enjoying all the goodies we share!

Our local movie theater is offering a free viewing of How to Train Your Dragon. That night, we’ll go to the beach and watch the fireworks while we light sparklers!

We are going to our aunt’s house for a cookout and fireworks. She lives like 5 minutes away and the closest place, besides her house, that is doing fireworks is like 45 minutes away.
Hopefully NOTHING. I am still recovering from multiple surgeries, so I don’t want to do a darn thing.
We’re having a cookout with friends, and then to the fireworks with the kids. We will probably swim in our pool too.
Sadly, we’re not doing anything for the 4th. We have a burn ban in effect so no fireworks. We’ll probably just BBQ and pack!

I plan to stay in and cook something in the crockpot and clean house. It is going to be 100+ here today and our fireworks are cancelled due to fire danger warnings, so not really much of a holiday.

My fourth will be the same as it has been since these storms have torn through the East….The catering I work for is feeding lunches to the 3,000+ crews from AEP Power, to men cutting the trees & clearing roadways for the power workers to get in to fix the lines. It’s a LONG process of fixing these lunches but somebody’s gotta do it & the power company sent an email to the boss this morning adding 700 more lunches to the order! So, we get NO fireworks tonight because we’re trying to help in the system of getting power restored to everyone else! This would make an awesome pick-me-up to win this!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
