I GOT SHAG!!! Yup, I did… I got me a shag rug and I LOVE IT!!!

Mohawk Home, the rug division of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of area rugs, indoor and outdoor mats and washable rugs in the United States.

We have light gray walls and black furniture in the room, pretty boring!  But Jeanna has been adding little red trinkets all over to add color and flair (as she calls it) and so when I got the chance to review a Mohawk area rug I surprised Jeanna with a RED one!!!

The Kodiak Cardinal 5’ x 8’ Area Rug is the perfect one to spice up our living room!  Shag is making a comeback. The shag is soooo soft and comfortable to sit and lay on.  The rug is stain and fade resistant, which is important because I had a dark rug in the same spot years back and it faded in the sun from the patio doors, only lasting a year or so before you could see the discoloring.  If the rug does get dirty, I can easily spot clean it with some mild detergent and water and not have to worry about weakening the 100% olefin fibers!
