Newman’s Own Organics
Who wouldn’t want to get a GIANT box in the mail filled with yummy food? I was that lucky!!!
I received a GIANT box of Newman’s Own Organics foods to taste and I was not disappointed. Of course there was some skepticism when I started reading the packages; I mean wheat-free dairy-free cookies, organic and natural licorice and wheat flour pretzels, wouldn’t you wonder a little bit??
These Oregon Tilth certified organic foods have been grown on farms that have not used artificial fertilizers or pesticides for three years or more.
Here goes nothing…. I went for what’s safe first, the Pretzel Rods!
DANG IT!!! They are delicious… these pretzels made of Organic unbleached wheat flour, organic rye flour, organic brown rice syrup, organic sunflower oil, organic barley malt, did I mention they were organic? LOL!!! With all those organic ingredients there is no way I would’ve known anything was different had I not read the package, they are THAT good! I am not surprised Newman’s Own Organics Pretzels are delicious since that is the first food they started with back in the day of starting up the company.
I got a bit braver after the pretzels moving onto the Orange Chocolate Chip Family Recipe Cookies made with organic flour and sugar. Boy oh boy, were these yummy!!! These cookies could not have more flavor, they are so good and hits that sweet spot oh just right J Again these cookies are made with all the organic ingredients!
On to the familiar looking cookies, Newman O’s, we tried the Wheat-Free, Dairy-Free Crème Filled Chocolate Cookies perfect for dunking in some milk! I tried them without the milk first… yup… DELICIOUS!! And then I dunked them in some milk and ate away… STILL DELICIOUS!!! Before I knew it Jeanna and I had eaten nearly half the package… oops 
(of course the milk kind of defeats the object of dairy free, but Jeanna and I don’t have allergies to dairy, for those of you who do these cookies are delicious plain as well!!)
To top it all off I finished with a bit of candy… DRIED APRICOTS! I have been hooked on dried fruit lately. I don’t eat candy or sweets very often but Jeanna loves anything sweet. We found dried fruits are sweet enough to eat as a snack here and there without all the crazy sugar, so we have had our fair share of brands. I truly think these are among the BEST. They are so soft and chewy but not sticky like some get. We cut some up and threw em in some yoghurt with a bit of granola for breakfast just this morning.

We like their alfredo and pasta sauce and use it pretty often – great price point and readily available even at Walmart! I think the butter flavor of Pop’s Corn would be yummy to try! Plus I would imagine the butter flavoring would be better and healthier than regular popcorn!
