Hope Harris – Picasso, That’s Who! (And So Can You!) CD Review & Giveaway
Adventures in Art

This CD was a lot of fun to listen to. I think the best part of the whole experience was that Picasso, That’s Who! was like Art 101!
I know it is suppose to be a kid’s album but I learned so much from each song. There are 10 tracks teaching about different artists from the familiarity of Picasso to the less known David Hockney. The music is upbeat and at times rocking with lessons of how each artist created their masterpieces.
If anything comes from this CD it taught me about artists I didn’t know. I knew the paintings but had no idea who the artists were. I Googled a few artists and learned something new! Who would have thought!
The last track Paint a Picture, Too sings a simple song to children about how to try things too, “now is the perfect time, everyone starts somewhere, so don’t miss the chance to try!” It really can make a child’s imagination take off… And we NEED more imagination in kids!
Hope Harris defiantly won me over with this album and I hope it has encouraged you to look at art in a new way. You can now buy Picasso, That’s Who! (And So Can You!) by clicking here: Picasso, That’s Who! (And So Can You!)
