It seems harder and harder to get kids outside to play. I remember being out in the yard playing for hours as a kid only coming inside to eat! Now, you tell the kids go out and they come back in ten minutes later because they are bored. I think I may have a solution… it’s all the catch game! First it was ball and glove, then tennis ball stuck on Velcro and the scoop shaped thingy with a waffle ball… now it’s RingStix!!

RingStix is a game consisting of four stix and a rubber type ring. Each player has two stix and toss the ring back and forth using the stix as the force behind the throw. Watch the video on the RingStix website…….you’ll see!!!
I played it with Jeanna first and we got it down in no time. I tried next with my 10 year old nephew and he was MUCH better than Jeanna and I. RingStix claimed anyone can toss the ring up to 50 yards…..So… like any product review I tried proving them wrong!!
DANG IT!!! It made it.… and I didn’t even have to try that many times!
Oh, and not that RingStix advises this whatsoever, the Stix do look similar to a light saber apparently and my nephew and Jeanna decided they needed to reenact the battle of some Star Wars scene and the Stix held up to the battle!! They are made of some heavy duty material so no worries on the kids breaking these anytime soon!
