Mo Phillips’ “Monster Suit” Kids CD ~ Review and Giveaway

April 9, 2012 By Africa

Mo Phillips’ “Monster Suit”

Definitely not your regular kids CD.  I had not heard any of Mo Phillips’ music prior to this opportunity and I immediately went to MoPhillips.com and downloaded his earlier music to my mp3 library!  It was the kind of music that you cannot help tapping your toes to… ironically the first song on the album is Toes!!

Monster Suit is a silly, rock n’ roll CD that after the first time you listen, you hit repeat and sing along!!  So many times I found myself laughing to the lyrics because each song hits home! The Worst Party Ever Thrown, the story of a child who has the worst party ever; and thinking back to when I was a kid and thought everything was the worst ever in my whole life… at the OLD age of six!!  🙂

Keeping the amazing sound of acoustic style rock n’ roll, The Princess and The Cowboy immediately filled my heart!  Simple lyrics that resonate to children and adults alike, and encourages tolerance, something so important in today’s day and age.  “Oh no it doesn’t matter what you do you just how you do it.  Make sure it’s full of happiness and heart.  Make sure it’s full of love right from the start.”

Although the entire album is silly, this CD is honestly one of the best children’s CDs I have heard in a long time.  I hope you will discover Mo Phillips like I have, Monster Suit will be available online at Mo Phillips Website, CD Baby and iTunes.  Also make sure you follow Mo Phillips on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to make sure you are aware of all his appearances, new releases, etc.

I love those titles! It is always nice to find music that adults enjoy to when they buy music for the kids.
