High Dive (And other things that could have happened) CD – Review & Giveaway

March 18, 2012 By Africa

HIGH DIVE!and Other Things That Could Have Happened - by Bill Harley

I know that everyone is a kid at heart, well I know that I am, and once I put this CD on I couldn’t stop listening!!!  The imagination that Bill Harley has is just amazing, the way he tells his stories, he has the ability to make you feel as if you are there, with him, as the stories unfold.

High Dive and Other Things That Could Have Happened includes four stories – It Could Have Happened, High Dive, Field Trip and Monster Valentine.  Each of the stories are so easy to relate to, for children AND adults!!  As I listened to each story I was literally laughing out loud as I could picture myself as a child in the same or similar situations.  As I said Bill Harley truly has a talent for drawing you into the story as it unfolds.

I would highly recommend this CD to all parents out there.  It is a great way to spend time with your kids, listening to funny stories and relaying them to your own life or the events that have unfolded in your kids lives thus far!!!

Harley, who received the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities Lifetime Achievement Award, is also a  long-time contributor to NPR’s “All Things Considered.” Touring nationally, Bill performs at venues ranging from concert halls to classrooms. Harley spent his formative years in Indianapolis before moving to Connecticut as a teenager. Today, the father of two grown sons resides with his wife and professional partner, Debbie Block, near Providence, Rhode Island. For the latest Bill Harley news, visit his website and his Facebook page.
