Potty Time

 

It’s not when you decide the time is right, it’s when THEY decide they want to!!

Potty training is something EVERY parent goes through… everyone has their ideas… everyone has the BEST way to do it.  NOT something most parents look forward to.

I was given the chance to review this potty training DVD by Signing Time.

No matter which technique you try to train your little one with this DVD is a great partner to have.  The DVD also includes a CD with all the songs in a sing-a-long version as well.   The DVD is not an instructional on how to use the potty; it’s a fun and easy way to teach your child how to listen to their body and “stop and go!!”

The best part is that it’s from Signing Time, an award-winning program teaching children to use American Sign Language.  Potty Time teaches your child how to sign several words involved in potty training AND it’s fun!! This DVD shows music videos with real people and animated characters that
help children feel good about growing up and trying something new – using the potty!

Potty Time walks the child through all the steps; from learning that ‘feeling’ all the way to washing those germy little hands.  It even teaches the child that accidents do happen and it’s ok to tell your mom or dad and try again next time.  Every kid must learn that accidents are okay and to try and try again!
