I work on a ranch to pay for my rent and utilities with very little actually money coming in. This requires that I budget down to the penny to make ends meet. That translates to cooking cheaply and in big batches for the most part and storing in freezer for later meals. I don’t have a lot of kitchen equipment and some of the mixing work gets tiring especially after throwing hay bales or fence posts on some days. AS best as I can I am trying to make the cooking part of my day easier since the work part of my day is going to be harder during the Winter. My son is in college this year and I have all the chores now as well as the cooking, cleaning, budgeting.. etc.. I also spend an inordinate amount of time on the computer couponing, doing freebies, contests, store programs.. etc.. just to make sure we have the necessities and a few treats or special items. So in the short term I need more efficiency in cooking, organization, and time management LOL
