The meaning behind my new header image!!

Hello to all my readers, old and new!!  I wanted to share the meaning behind the new header imagine I have on my blog now that I’ve gone self hosted and made a few changes.  As you can tell, the picture depicts two people holding hands with hockey jerseys on (well if you didn’t know, I am telling you that they are hockey jerseys).
These hands belong to Jeanna and me.  We had our photos taken a few weeks back and in some of them I wore my South African National Team jersey that I got in 2008 while representing the country at the IIHF world championships in Romania.  Jeanna is wearing the Team USA replica jersey.  I thought the USA/South Africa jersey idea would be cute, and I was right hehe!

This header image depicts two things that are of vital importance in my life.  My partner and hockey!!!  I just love how it came together in this photo and as soon as I saw it I knew immediately that I wanted it to be my new blog header image.
