It is once again MONDAY, which means it’s Music Monday blog hop time.
This week I have chosen the song Stand Up by Sugarland. The reason I chose this song is due to the strong message it has. In the light of the current level of bullying and personal attacks on people for being ‘different’. Different in many ways, their skin color, their sexual identity, sexual preferences, etc. etc. The list really is endless!!
I hope that the words in this song will help those people, the ones being pushed down and held down, help them to stand up for who they are, for what they are and to never have any shame for been who they are!!! (This song/blog post will lead into another post I have scheduled for this coming week regarding bullying and the attacks etc.)
But for now please sit back, listen to the words, and hopefully get motivated to help, if not you, then someone close to you to realize that things can and will get better!!!

It’s so great that artists are writing songs to come against bullying. I hate that kids do that to other kids.

I’ve never heard this song before, great song! I just don’t understand bullying at all. It’s so cruel.
