As I said back on Day 3 – I have friends from different circles as well as friends from different countries. The picture I chose for today is me with two ladies I’ve been friends with since I was about 15 years old. I guess you could say we grew up on the ice together…..we all played hockey for Krugersdorp growing up and the National Team, I believe we were all on the team in 1999 or 2000? (You two feel free to chime in on this). To say the three of us had disagreements growing up is putting it mildly LOL!!! We had full-out fights, to the point that our coach had to separate the three of us from a fist throwing fight – during practice……
However, we grew up, over came our differences and have been awesome teammates and friends ever since. On our last trip to Iceland we were team captains, Nadine – Captain, Sabrina and myself – Assistant Captains. We’ve made so many amazing memories, in so many countries, we’ve been blessed to be able to travel as much as we have, doing what we LOVE doing!!!

Hey Debs, thats really awesome of you to share!! We were together on the National team since 2000. We have had many ups and downs, but i remember you as a kid before you were 15, playing in the street with John and Shawn. LOL We had hairaising times then too!!
But all in all, age has changes us and we becamegood friends and teammates!! Missing you so much!!! Hope you make a turn to the Cape when u come visit SA, u have free accom at my place if you need!!
