My best friend – My Mom!!
I miss my mom more then words can truly explain! I’ve used the word miss you tons, miss you sooooo much, miss you more then you can imagine…….but I know she can imagine, because I know she misses me just as much!!
The decision I made to leave home was never easy, well at 19 when I left i didn’t know it was forever, I just wanted to play hockey, thats what life is all about…….right?? Boy was I mistaken, however I know my mom’s proud of me that I am here, and I’m doing as well as I am!! She doesn’t judge me on my decisions (unless I’m really making dumb ones), she doesnt question my life or my lifestyle, she knows I am living the life I was born to live, her love knows NO BARRIERS……..she loves with all her heart and completely unconditionally!!
My mom was born in 1946, a few years back my mom was diagnosed with lupus, discoid at first, changed into systemic……Lupus is an ugly disease and I HATE it!!!!!! It is robbing my mom of her years and leaving her in almost constant agony……did I mention I HATE Lupus???
I know that if my mom was able to she would take every ache and every pain from my body……but here I am, stuck, unable to help my mom!! Being in South Africa or in Minnesota wouldn’t make a difference, this disease is robbing my mom of the life she so richly deserves!! I am SORRY mom!!! I am Sorry that this disease picked you and most of all I am SORRY I am unable to help!!!!!

ok, now that you have me crying. that was a great tribute to your MOM. I felt the love you have for each other as I read it. Job well done. How could anyone not be proud of what you’ve done it your short life? keep up the good work!!

Hi my darling girl, thank you so very much angel. I love you so very much and I know you love me to. I really am so very proud of you. You were not much more that a baby when you left home and look at you now, 12 years later my darling, you have achieved so much. How could any mother be proud of what you have done, you have a great job, a lovely home, and a gorgeous most devoted partner. You make my life worth living, you together with your father, your 3 great brothers and my amazing
grandchildren. I love you all so very much and so totally unconditionally with my body and soul. Cannot wait for February when I will see you again and meet our great partner. God bless my darling.
