A photo-blog……our trip to the MN Zoo!!

Jeanna and I went to the Minnesota Zoo on Friday, August 19th 2011……here is a photo rendition of our day!!

Yup we are at the right place.....

Let the journey begin!!

I saw this very anatomically correct animal at the entrance.....

But I just said "HI"!!

Then we went to "Africa"

And it didn't even take 18 hours to get there!!

I told Jeanna there were penguins in Africa!!!

Maybe NOW she believes me?

Can't make this up....Jackass Penguins!!

So we tried walking like penguins........

Jeanna was a PROFESSIONAL 😉

There were so many creatures to take photos with!!

We saw some Apes!! They were cute!

But then...just like that....we were back in America!!

So we continued on our journey!!

but then again NOT!!!

Then I spilled my ice cream 🙁

We looked at camels...submerged in green slush.....

And a very playful bear!!

And this wanna be geyser.....

After the journey through Africa and America

We headed into Discovery Bay, where you can touch Sharks & Sting Rays

AND there was an unexpected Dolphin Show!!

I Love Dolphins!!

One day I'll swim with them!!

Then we went to the gift store.......they didn't have this in my size

Before you could say....diddle daddle....our time at the zoo was over 🙁

With all the work, hockey, studying, etc. I do we don’t get many days like this, so I wanted to post a blog to remember how much fun we did have and to say THANK YOU again to Jeanna for taking me out for such a fun filled day!! I love you baby!!

I had soooo much fun at the zoo with you!!!

I can’t wait for the BIG animals in AFRICA!!

BTW… SOO proud of you for petting the baby shark!!! and sort of touching the sting ray!! 🙂
