So when I am skating, be it reffing or playing, I have some of the most ridiculous thoughts go through my head……..thought I’d share for everyone’s entertainment or annoyance.
1. Wondering how much the on campus job pays to clean the glass around the rink Ridder???
2. Is this better or worse than working in the campus cafeteria?
3. Why are some kids so funny looking??
4. Dang the women doing timekeeping Is cute…
5. What were you thinking??? Wait……were you thinking???
6. God I’m hungry….OR
7. God why’d I eat ________ (many items have filled in this gap) before reffing/playing??
8. I wish I was in bed!!
9. I wish I’d tied my skates better…
10. What??? There’s a game??? AHHHHH
11. At world’s I’m gonna do this _____ or that ______ (there are MANY things I plan on doing at worlds)
12. The star-spangled banner is played too much!!!!
13. Did that girl really just spit while the anthem was playing????
14. Maybe chess would be a better option for you……just saying!
15. Some people proclaim to know so much about the rules but when I offer them my whistle they always decline, why?
16. There really are men/women/kids/boys/girls who should NOT be allowed to have a stick in their hands!
17. Did you really just miss that call…..I always throw myself on the ice for entertainment value!!
18. I’m so confused, I was told I’d be reffing a hockey game today, yet a wrestling match has broken out…HOLY CRAP!!!
I LOVE reffing and playing, no matter how bad the day has being it always makes me happy….the picture below shows exactly what I mean!!
