Well, it’s that time of the year again………Christmas 2010 is upon us!
Is everyone ready? I am…well as ready as I can be. To be honest, I have huge issues trying to get into the Christmas spirit when its sooooo cold outside and the ground is covered in over 20 inches of snow. Growing up in South Africa I have always had, until 2002, Christmas be during the summer. We had a nice big lunch of roast leg of lamb and then we’d be swimming, running around outside, playing with our new roller blades or bicycles in the yard. But then I had to get used to Christmas in the cold dreary weather, if you attempted playing outside with your new toys here you’d have so many layers on to avoid frost bite (slight exaggeration I’m sure) you’d barely be able to move!
For me it’s just different is all. I still have a good time and I am no Grinch, I still get very excited about Christmas and buying gifts etc. Heaven knows I LOVE wrapping presents, in fact I try to separate gifts into as many small gifts I can in order to wrap more 
And as I sit here on Christmas Eve I am beyond excited to go to bed tonight so that we can wake up tomorrow and open gifts, my gifts, Jeanna’s gifts, Tanner and Logan’s gifts!! It’s going to be awesome!!!!
I am happy for my Christmas Eve that I got to spend with my Jeanna Marie……some shopping, some gift wrapping, sitting on the couch and relaxing. Life is good indeed!! I am happy and I love my life, I love my girlfriend, my family, my friends, my puppies, I just love life right now, and I am bound and determined to make 2011 one of the very best of my life!!
