TANNER (crossed the rainbow bridge May 2018)
Tanner was a 14 year old male miniature pinscher. He was born April 30th, 2004, and came to live with me when I made an impulse buy at Petland pet store in August of 2004. This was before I knew what puppy mills are – NO more pet store dogs for our family.
He was a very unique character and most definitely is a mommy’s boy, he followed me around constantly and when I sit upstairs, working on Africa’s Blog, he used to lay at the door to make sure I’m safe.
He was deathly afraid of anyone getting into the shower, the vacuum cleaner and basically any other device that makes a noise when turned on, such as hair dryers, dish washers, blenders etc.
He truly was not the breed standard of a min pin, he was one of a kind and such a handsome man!
LOGAN
Logan is 14 years old, she was born on April 26th, 2005. She came to live with me when it was decided Tanner needed a ‘sister’ to keep him company.
Logan is opposite to Tanner in many regards, she is a lot more independent, and I don’t think she’d much care if there were humans around or not, so long as she has her 2 meals a day, a couple treats and a comfy couch/bed to sleep on and of course a nice fleece blanket to wrap herself up in. With that said however, she is quite the cuddle bug, and will cuddle with anyone who will give her the time of day.
