It’s that time of the year, time for the kids to head back to school. A time parents rejoice in and (some) kids dread. If you haven’t already you’ll head out to purchase school supplies and I am here to tell you about the perfect water bottle to add to the list.
refresh2go reusable filtered water bottles
If you’ve followed along on my blogging journey the past few years you’ll know that our family is already sold on refresh2go filter water bottles and have been using them for a couple years now. We are very excited to be working with them again to bring you their line of water bottles that will be the perfect companion in your kids school back pack this fall. Especially – their brand new Lead Removal Filter.
Earlier this year I spoke about refresh2go’s 1 bottle – 2 straws product development. Meaning you can now choose to drink water with the filter, or simply change the straw (that comes with your bottle) and use your bottle with other things you love to drink. Your drink, your way!!
refresh2go has a large line of bottles to choose from, many featured on my blog already. The latest is their Excursion bottle which keeps your drink cold (or hot) for 24 hours – and it works wonderfully, I’ve used it all summer long.
Today I am thrilled to share with you that refresh2go has introduced their level 2 Lead Removal Filter, which I am convinced will be the perfect filter as the kids head back to school and fill up their water bottles at the school drinking fountain.
I bet you’re asking what the difference is between their original filter and the lead removal version and I’ll tell you.
refresh2go’s original, or level 1 filter, filters out chlorine (taste and odor). The level 2, or Lead Removal Filter, filters out chlorine, LEAD plus more. What I love about it is that it takes out that metal like taste you often have with tap/drinking fountain water.
In an ideal world we wouldn’t have lead in water, however, we know that we do – BUT now you can get it OUT of your drinking water in 3 simple steps. First you rinse the filter in cold water, then you attach it to the straw that came with your refresh2go bottle and lastly you drink. You’ll be enjoying much better tasting and better for your water in no time.
The best feature is that each filter lasts roughly 2 months, or 40 gallons of water. At only $14.99 per 2 pack you’ll find these filters extremely cost effective.
With bottles ranging in size from 12oz through 32oz and $6.99 through $24.99 you will find the perfect refresh2go filter water bottle for everyone in your family.
PLUS if you shop now through August 21st and use coupon code Back2School you’ll save 20% off your purchase.
You can also check them on Amazon, where they’re eligible for Prime Shipping.
Follow refresh2go via Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter, that way you’ll be kept up to date on all product developments and promotions as they happen.

I have not seen these before. This is a great idea. I don’t like the taste of chlorine in my water and lead is definitely not good. Thank you so much for sharing this

This bottle seems to solve so many problems with water. Knowing that my daughter will always be able to drink clean pure water whether at school or home or at play. Thanks for this info.

so many of todays kids are used to opening a bottle of water so they are not a fan of tap water. Its good for a kid to have water school and this would give them good water with out all the plastic bottles. Some of our school recycle water bottles

I really like the idea of having the filter right in the bottle. I especially like that it filters out the chlorine as that is really our biggest problem with out water.
