Finally time for another season – a WARM season!! Here in MN we are very happy to see the back end of winter and welcome in the Spring and Summer.
Gradie received the Lincoln II sandal and the Kristen sneaker (linen color) and she couldn’t be happier. She received the original version of the Lincoln last summer and she absolutely loved them so when I saw there was a Lincoln II I just had to get them for her.
Lincoln II Sandal
Last year Gradie learned how to put her own shoes on with her sandals and this summer she’ll be able to continue getting her own sandals on and off without a battle with the hook-and-loop straps that allow her to get them just right. Plus she can choose to open the strap on top or the strap that goes behind her foot – or both.
The Lincoln II sandals are lightweight, but provide great support for your little ones feet. Gradie wears them for hours and never complains they’re uncomfortable or bother her. Personally, I love the rubber toe cap, it protects her little toes from getting stubbed and in turn she can play more and hurt herself less.
Made with a nylon mesh lining makes them breathable and easy to dry if your little one gets them wet this summer, which Gradie did nuemrous times last summer. I am excited to have another pair of sandals I know will last Gradie all summer long, and then some. After many hours of play, and travel, her first pair of Lincoln sandals are still in great shape and the only reason she isn’t still wearing them is because she has outgrown them.
This weekend we were at the park and we had a couple parents ask where we got her sandals from – of course, we were very excited to share with them our love of See Kai Run.
Another lightweight, uniquely designed shoe is the Kristen sneaker. Gradie has been wearing these to school almost every day since she got them. They’re easy to put on and off and the super cute flowers embroidered on make them another of Gradie’s favorites. Of course, he mom’s love them too, so it’s a win win!
One thing I’ve noticed with Gradie wearing the Kristen sneakers is that her socks are not ‘sweaty’ when we take her shoes off which they often are in other shoes. This is because they’re lined with breathable materials – and for that I am very grateful, no more smelly toddler feet.
The Kristen sneaker is also available in Chambray (a blue), and hot pink with dots. I am sure Gradie would love them all and your kids will too.
