I recently posted about our visit to the set of Disney’s new show Bizaardvark (which moves to it’s regularly scheduled time of 8:30pm EST on Sundays, starting July 10th). During our visit we also had the opportunity to sit down and interview the cast members of this great new show.
- Olivia Rodrigo plays Paige Olvera,
- Madison Hu plays Frankie Wong,
- Jake Paul who plays the lovable and wild Dirk Mann,
- DeVore Ledridge plays Southern DIY diva Amelia Duckworth, and
- Ethan Wacker plays the overly-confident Bernard “Bernie” Schotz
I am always blown away by the confidence and skill level these young actors possess. As you talk to them you realize that they are kids with a serious job that most adults would have a hard time wrapping themselves around.
Asked about their schooling they explain that they all, except for Jake Paul, who has graduated high school, attend school on the set. They have tutors and are essentially home schooled or should we say ‘set schooled’. Ethan was sure to let us know how, however, that they are now on summer vacation.
There are strict rules around how many hours they are able to work as child actors, which are a little relaxed when the school year is over – which they seemed rather excited about.
Take a look at the two videos below that were made during the interview by my blogging friends Colleen of Classy Mommy
and Jessica of The Mom Creative;
Of course getting to experience these once in a lifetime set visits and cast and crew interviews is so much sweeter when done with a great friend, like my good blogging & personal friend Donna Hup 0f DonnaHup.com.
“Bizaardvark” moves to its regular time slot with the telecast of its second episode “Draw My Life,” on SUNDAY, JULY 10 (8:30 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel.
In this new episode, Amelia gives Frankie and Paige tips to produce their next video, which has to tell the story of how the two met and created their channel. Meanwhile, Bernie tries to help Dirk overcome his worse fear.
REMEMBER – Bizaardvark moves to it’s regularly scheduled time of Sunday’s at 8:30pm ESTon Disney Channel!!!
Of course you should follow Bizaardvark via their social media outlets, because, well why not?!
Disclosure: Disney provided me with an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles including travel, accommodations and activities. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I will definitely make sure that my children watch this as I definitely feel the younger they learn that we are no different to any other culture in the world and that everybody has the same hopes and dreams then the world will be a much better place.

This sounds like a good show that teaches kids to embrace the differences because everyone wishes for similar things.

I have an eleven-year-old girl that loves the Disney Channel. The jury is still out on this show. Just so-so for her at this point. Time will tell! 🙂
