This sounds great. I know I have used both baking soda and vinegar individually to clean with and had great results. Have even better mixing them together with water. Thanks so much for the information.

The pretty pictures made me wonder if you’ve tried adding lemon or lime for scent… 🙂

I’d add lemon essential oil to this.

I’ve heard that you can add lemon juice to it to make it smell good, but I will definitely try this. To many chemicals are flooding the market. But, does this disinfect too?

I haven’t tried this one but did try the one that was 2oz Dawn dish soap, 4oz, lemon juice, 6oz white vinegar and 8oz of water in spray bottle and I gatta tell you it really works. I managed a store for 30 some years and my granddauger would come in an color the walls, well 409 use to take forever to get it clean, but this mixture took it off so easy.

I am always looking for natural d.i.y cleansers. I’m chemical sensitive and try to be very careful about the products I use.

I too use vinegar and water, but never thought of putting the baking soda in with it. I just figured the reaction might make each of the ingredients less effective.

I love these all natural do it yourself cleaning ideas. Too many chemicals are being introduced into our lives in places where we have no control over it. Keep sharing these ideas please!!!!
I’ll tell you another use for baking soda and vinegar. Have a clogged drain? Pour a half a cup of baking soda down the drain followed by a cup of vinegar. Let it sit until you no longer hear any bubbling or fizzing. Flush drain with hot water. This will clear drains of lime scale, mildew, hair clogs, scum, grease, and much more. CAUTION: DO NOT USE THIS SOON AFTER TRYING A CHEMICAL DRAIN FLUSH. WAIT 24 HOURS!
