THE RED HEN…AND MORE COOKING STORIES

SCHOLASTIC STORYBOOK TREASURES™ IS SERVING UP A DELECTABLE BUFFET OF SCRUMPTIOUS STORIES IN AN ALL-NEW DVD!

Red Hen DVD

Scholastic Storybook Treasures™ have done it again, another amazing  DVD released for our little ones, and the whole family to enjoy.  What’s better then having your little ones watching TV and learning at the same time?  They can do that with these Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVD’s as they have the read-along feature.

The Red Hen…And More Cooking Stories ( which is written and illustrated by Rebecca Emberley and Ed Emberley, and narrated by Walter Mayes) is 56 minute long and has four fun stories of cooking and baking and teaching.  It really is filled with great humor and is illustrated fantastically.

The four stories are;

  • THE RED HEN (the classic story of Red Hen and her adventures in baking)
  • BREAD COMES TO LIFE (covering each step of how to bring bread to life)
  • HOW DO DINOSAURS EAT THEIR FOOD? (dinosaurs show that burping, and playing with food is  a good way to enjoy a meal)
  • ARNIE THE DOUGHNUT (this one is just fun and a must watch!)

In addition to these great stories there is also an easy-to-follow recipe for Simply Splendid Cake that you and your little ones can make together, making this DVD so much more then just some time spent in front of the TV.

The Red Hen…And More Cooking Stories is available from the New Kideo Website by clicking HERE for just $14.95 and of course you can get The Red Hen and more cooking stories on Amazon.  I am confident you and your children will enjoy it as much we did!!  Also make sure to check out New Kideo on Facebook and Twitter to make sure you are kept up to date with all the information and new releases!!!

I am excited to let you know that YOU can enter to win THE RED HEN…AND MORE COOKING STORIES for you to enjoy with your little ones, all you have to do is enter via the rafflecopter entry form below.

Too Many Toys…and more stories about problem solving would be great for my daughter that teaches child development classes. The Little Red Hen stories would be GREAT too as she is a Family Consumer Science teacher. Those teachers use to be called Home Ec teachers but now they teach more things than just cooking and sewing. Thanks for the giveaway :)
